Dr. Daniel Finn

Daniel is a board-certified dermatologist in both General Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and also performed a fellowship approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery in Mohs
Micrographic Surgery. Daniel received his undergraduate education at Brown University in Providence, RI. From there he attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of
Medicine and remained at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for his internal medicine internship. He then returned home to Boston where he trained in Dermatology at the combined
Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program. Upon graduation, Daniel was accepted into a Mohs College Fellowship Dermatologic Surgery Program under the tutelage of Dr. Gary
Rogers and trained for an additional year in Mohs Surgery as well as reconstructive techniques.
When Daniel completed his training, he opened South Shore Skin Surgeons in Braintree in 1999 and worked both in private practice as well as in academics at Boston University in the Department of
Surgery. In the year 2000, Daniel left Boston University and continued his part-time academic career in the Department of Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center where he worked with Dr. Rogers to
train dermatology residents in surgical techniques and helped to train Mohs College fellows in Mohs surgery. Daniel finally left academic medicine in 2010 continuing solely in the private practice
setting.
